2018 Book Fair

August 3, 4 & 5


The 2018 Fair will once again be held at the Family Arena located at 2002 Arena Parkway in St. Charles, MO 63303


Friday, August 3:

9:00 am to Noon – Friends of the Library Members only admission

Friends Memberships must be received by Friday, July, 27. Join the Friends now.

Friend’s Memberships will be sold on Friday immediately after the 9 am opening.


Noon to 9:00 pm – Free and open to the general public


Saturday, August 4: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm – Free and open to the general public


Sunday, August 5: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm – Free and open to the general public

$5.00 a bag day (most items).  Standard size plastic grocery bags provided on site.


Bargain Prices – Great Selection

Over 250,000 hardbacks, paperbacks, sets, and records!  One of the largest Book Fairs in the St. Louis area. 

·        Most hardbacks $2.00 each

·        Regular size paperbacks 50¢ each

·        Oversize paperbacks $1.00 each

·        All children’s & teen books 50¢ each

·        AV materials are priced as marked. Some very old books, reference materials and special items are priced separately.

Customers may pay by cash, check or credit.


Leftovers Free to Nonprofit Organizations

The Friends will donate the "leftovers" from the 2018 Fair to non-profit organizations (schools, churches, etc.) who can come on Sunday, August 5, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. and pick them up. Books will be given away on a first-come-first-serve basis.  Nonprofit organizations interested in any of the leftover items should sign up online or contact Erin Carnes at 441-2300 ext. 1517 prior to the Fair.

The Friends of the Library offer qualified teachers, schools, and non-profit agencies a chance to shop for free at the Summer Book Fair.


1 PM - 3 PM on Sunday, Aug.5th.
