The Friends of the Library book fair is back and better than ever with three days to shop
for your favorite titles. 
Friends of the Library members with paid membership as of August 12
 will enjoy advance shopping hours on opening day before the sale opens to the public!

Spend some time with your Friends August 15 to August 17 at the annual Summer Book Fair! Enjoy the comfort of shopping in the air conditioned St. Charles Convention Center and stock your bookshelves with some great reads!  Admission is free all three-days. Hours vary daily.

Members Enjoy Exclusive Shopping Hours...It Pays to Be a Friend!
Friends members will enjoy advance shopping hours on the opening day of the sale.  From 9:00am to 12:00pm, only Friends members will have access to the more than 250,000 books, movies and other media offered.  The sale opens to the public at noon.  
 
To fully enjoy "members only" hours, purchase or renew your membership now.  Memberships received by Tuesday, August 12 will be processed in time for the sale. Memberships will also be available for purchase at the event, however, membership sales will not begin until after 9:00am when the sale opens.
 

Bargain Prices - Great Selection
  
Browse more than 250,000 hardbacks, paperbacks, records, magazines, sets and special collections. The annual Friends of the Lirbary Summer Book Fair is one of the largest in the St. Louis area with the best prices! 

Hardbacks - $2.00  Children's and teen books - 25¢
  • Most paperbacks - 50¢ 
  • Oversize paperbacks - $1.00 
Magazines - 10¢
Records, DVDs, VHS tapes & audio books individually priced. Sets & special collections, reference materials, some rare books, & other special items priced separately.
On Sunday, books are sold for $5.00 a bag.
Standard size grocery bags provided.

 

All books are sorted into popular categories to make it easier to find the items you want! Some of the most popular categories are: Cookbooks, Children's, Teen, Crafts, Art, Western, Mysteries, Science Fiction and Biographies. Children's and Teen materials are available in their own section on the sale floor.

Exit I-70 at Fifth Street and go south. Turn right on Veteran's Memorial Parkway and the Convention Center is on the left.
